Our history

It all began in 1967 when 'Childminders of London' was established, helping families in the nation's capital find trusted babysitting and childcare

Recognising that we could help families both inside and outside London - Sitters was born, providing evening babysitting to families like ours.

Taking our service nationwide, Sitters merged with 'Childminders of London' to provide fully-vetted childcare to families at home and on holiday, throughout the UK

Since we first began, we're proud to have helped families on millions of occasions. No one has more experience than Sitters in finding professional childcare for your family.
