We were very nervous ahead of hiring a babysitter to take care of our kids (6/8/11) after we had not had a babysitter since pre-covid (and never one that didn't come on the basis of personal recommendations), but within minutes we realised that we needn't worry and that our kids will be in good hands for the evening. Even with some hurdles thrown in the way (TV didn't work!!!) the kids had a great evening full of crafts and reading and settled to bed easily (or so Janet said). They were very happy in the end ("when will we see Janet again?") and so are we.

Barbara babysat 5 kids (2 families) for us in Broadstairs while us 4 parents went out for dinner locally, and immediately gave us enormous peace of mind with her warm and friendly demander! We had (remarkably!) managed to get 4 of the children to sleep before she arrived, and Barbara happily offered to put the 5th to bed after we left which worked wonderfully and allowed us to go out and enjoy ourselves. Where do I start!? Bo is just such an amazing professional childminder and engaging with both our 4.5 year old (and us adults alike!)
